Maze Navigation Basics

When two tiles with the same value touch, they combine into a single tile carrying their sum. The goal is to keep merging until you produce a tile with the value 2048, though the game continues as long as moves are possible.

Strategic Tile Placement

Because the maze contains obstacles, players cannot simply move tiles anywhere. Every decision must account for walls that block paths and corners that can trap tiles. Keeping high-value tiles near edges or in open areas helps maintain flexibility. Planning several moves ahead becomes essential, especially when the board fills and options shrink.

Progressive Challenge

Early sessions introduce simple layouts with few walls, allowing players to learn basic movement and merging. Later stages present more complex mazes with longer corridors and tighter spaces. The difficulty ramps naturally as the number of tiles increases and the available room decreases. This gradual escalation keeps the experience engaging without overwhelming newcomers.

The 3D perspective gives each maze a clear sense of depth, making it easy to see which paths are open. Controls respond quickly to swipes or button taps, so the focus stays on strategy rather than fumbling with inputs.
